The best possible choice to go to Corcovado
Normally reviews are written when something goes wrong, but in this case it was all so amazing that I lacked time to share it.We chose La Perla del Sur to visit Corcovado because it is a local company and we wanted to leave from Sierpe. Upon arrival, we left the car in its own parking lot and from the first moment the whole team was super friendly. We went in the off-season, so we were lucky to do the tour privately, just us. Maria, in the office, was lovely and very attentive. Our guide, Oscar, was a 10-footer. It is a place in the mangroves that knows perfectly the area, its fauna and flora. Along the way he explained curiosities about animals, plants and the ecosystem, while we saw crocodiles, raccoons and more. When we reached the sea, we saw some fins in the distance (we didn’t have much luck with whales), and when we reached San Pedrillo we started a guided hike through the jungle. Thanks to Oscar we saw tapir, spider monkeys, turkeys, a wheeze, a boa constrictor and we heard the howler monkeys. We were prepared a delicious lunch on the beach, with rice, salads, juices, fresh fruit, cookies... all in the purest style “Pura Vida”.As we got a little wet, we decided to skip the second hike and Oscar offered us an alternative: a tour of a deeper area of mangroves. It was a big decision. We saw sloths, more howler monkeys, learned about piangua and its regulated collection, and even visited the house of a local who opened one for us to try it with lemon. An authentic and very special moment.Back, the captain and his assistant (also locals) were just as attentive and close. And to top it off, when we arrived in Sierpe we were surprised with a homemade cake for my mother's birthday. We sing, we toast with wine... a perfect closure for an unforgettable day.The Pearl of the South is much more than an agency. They are humble, hard-working, intelligent, local people with exceptional human treatment. They deserve everything good that happens to them. I would return to them without hesitation.Pure life.

Stunning tour!
The tour started with a complimentary coffee at the pier. Afterwards, the captain and our Irish guide James took us on a breathtaking tour of the mangroves. Besides several animals and plants that were shown and explained to us we also had a wonderful time with the two. Super warm people with a lot of sense of humor.Would recommend everyone to do this tour!:)

Our favourite visit to Costa Rica
An exceptional welcome for an exceptional mangrove tour! Our guide, James, accompanied by Shirley, gave us a wonderful time. Not only did we see a lot of animals, but James also made a point of showing us the history of the Sierpe region. He was very attentive to everyone so that this cruise left a precious memory for young and old alike! The restaurant is also recommended without hesitation. Thanks to the whole team

A unique and unforgettable trip to the mangroves!
The mangrove boat tour is truly a highlight. We received expert instruction from our guide, James, and he answered all our questions. James's knowledge of the flora and fauna, as well as the fascinating wildlife, is incredible. He also has a keen eye for identifying animals in their environment. As an Irishman, he speaks Spanish, German and of course his native language English. We enjoyed three hours of wonderful conversation and learned a lot from him this morning. This tour is a MUST in Sierpe! Thank you so much, James!

Like no other place on the planet
I went to see Sirera ranger station in Corcovado and I have never seen anything like it with regards to jungle beauty and The bounty of animal life. We went with La Perla del Sur and had a fantastic guide named Rebecca. She was one of the best guys I have ever had not only in her body of information but also in her caring and caretaking of us. I highly recommend you go to this magical place and you go with Rebecca.
